The Field Musem
Sue's skeleton on display in Stanley Field Hall
Sue, the largest, most complete, and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton ever found, was discovered in 1990near Faith, South Dakota, by fossil hunter Susan Hendrickson. Sue's mounted skeleton was unvieled at The Field Museum on May 17, 2000.

Black bear cubs are born during the hibernation period in late January. When born, they weigh about nine ounces and are the size of a stick of butter. From this point on, they grow very quickly weighing 15 to 20 pounds by May and about 75 pounds by the end of the summer. A fully grown male black bear weighs about 300 pounds.
